PURPOSE: To make alignment exact and to make it possible to inexpensively execute writing in a short time by making plural modulated laser beams incident at a prescribed angle on a single mirror and simultaneously writing plural images on liquid crystal cells.

CONSTITUTION: Three lines of the laser beams 10a, 10b, 10c modulated in such a manner that the blue, green and red components of the color images can be written are shaped to parallel luminous fluxes by beam shaping optical systems 12a to 12c and are made incident at the prescribed incident angle on the same galvanometer mirror 14 for scanning. Three pieces of the beams are then kept at the prescribed angle spacing from the mirror 14 and are directed toward the lens 16 and are imaged via the lens 16 onto three pieces of the cells 18a, 18b, 18c. At this time, the use of laser address type liquid crystals(LALC) as the cells is made possible. The cell images are thereafter successively projected onto one sheet of photosensitive material and the full-color images are completed.
