Abstract:
To provide a method for facilitating the calculation of link costs on a connectionless communication network.
When determining a communication route from arbitrary terminal equipment inside the network to the other arbitrary terminal equipment by applying a numerical value related to costs for route selection to each of links, among plural routes connecting these terminal equipment, the route of minimum total link costs on the route is calculated, the route of the minimum total link costs on the route between the relevant terminal equipment on the network virtually excluding one link existent on the relevant route afterwards is repeatedly calculated and the routes of low total costs are sorted from plural provided routes in ascending order.
