Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which particles in a fluid are sorted as a flow cytometer and in which a microfluid component is prepared.
SOLUTION: The microfluid component comprises preferably a preparation region which specifically influences the particles by dielectric migration so as to separate the particles, a measuring channel region used to characterize the particles, a sorting region used to sort the particles identified in the measuring channel region by the dielectric migration. The sorting region comprises a switch element used to actively guide the particles to two or more subchannels agreeing with a reference recorded in the measuring channel region. By the fluid component constituted of the method used for the flow cytometer, the particles, especially biological cell particles, are sorted quickly and precisely.
