Abstract:
To provide a method for sorting a coating material or the like of an electric wire/cable at every kind of materials.
Powdery particulates of nonmetal waste containing crosslinked polyethylene are charged by friction. These charged powdery particulates are fed to an electrostatic field formed by a feed electrode 2 and a separation electrode 3. The powdery particulates charged to polarity different from that of the separation electrode 3 are repulsed from the surface of the feed electrode 2 and the powdery particulates charged to the same polarity as the separation electrode 3 are attracted to the surface of the feed electrode 2 to sort the powdery particulates at every kind of a constitutent material.
