Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high effects on preventing birds, small animals, etc., from eating seeds without lowering the workability of seeding work, need for additional work, etc.
SOLUTION: A single acorn-shaped seed 14, for instance, is fixedly retained in the seed holding part 12 of an arrow-like rod member 10 having an arrowhead-like lower end 16 made in one with the member 10 and a root growing space 28 open to outside. By inserting the arrowhead-like lower end 16 into vegetation ground 18 until its predetermined length is buried in, the acorn- shaped seed 14 is placed in ground together with the seed holding part 12 holding it at a predetermined depth from ground surface 18a.
