Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply stabilize L-methionine-γ-lyase for determination, etc., of amino acid for a long period by lyophilizing a solution containing L- methionine-γ-lyase, an oligosaccharide, a water-soluble polysaccharide, a sugar alcohol, a protein, an acidic amino acid, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A solution containing L-methionine-γ-lyase and one or more kinds of substances selected from an oligosaccharide such as saccharose, maltose, lactose, trehalose, raffinose or maltotriose, a water-soluble polysaccharide such as dextran, a sugar alcohol such as sorbitol, mannitol or xylitol, a protein such as hydrolyzate of gelatin, an acidic amino acid such as glutamin acid, aspartie acid or an alkali metal salt thereof, glutathione, N-acetylcysteine is prepared and the solution is lyophilized to simply stabilize L-methionine-γ-lyase useful for detection and determination of amino acid such as L-methionine, L-cysteine so as to be able to stably store for a long period.
