Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate correction method in which a workpiece extended with pressure applied in the correction direction is moved in the longitudinal direction by the tensile force of not causing plastic deformation, and thereby the composition of the workpiece is not greatly deteriorated, and provide a simple correction device of highly efficient type.SOLUTION: A correction method of a linear workpiece and its device are provided for correcting the workpiece in the state where the tensile force is applied in the workpiece longitudinal direction by clamps 16, 16a clamping both ends of a workpiece W while applying the pressing force in the strain correction direction by a correction ram 7 of a pushing mechanism 8. When the correction ram 7 of the pushing mechanism 8 stretches the workpiece W by the pressing force in the workpiece longitudinal direction, one clamp 16 is drawn and moved in the workpiece longitudinal direction by the tensile force of not causing plastic deformation in the workpiece W, and thereby the workpiece is corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
