Abstract:

To provide a paper strengthening agent having excellent paper strengthening effect, easy in handling and having a physical property of low apparent viscosity.

The paper strengthening agent is a polymer which is manufactured by polymerizing a monomer (or mixture) essentially containing an acrylic monomer having a primary amino group in the presence of a polyacrylamide polymer.
