PURPOSE: To efficiently strip and recover cake by fixing one end of a filter cloth to a filter frame, forcibly stretching the other end by a device and stripping the cake in the titled method of stripping filtered cake in a filter press.
CONSTITUTION: After filtration is complete, a filter plate 11 is opened by a frame-opening device C and the cake while being deposited on the filter cloth 8 is exposed to the opening of a filter chamber. One end of the filter cloth 8 made of a highly expansible and contractible special woven fabric is fixed, namely the end is inserted into the upper end of the filter frame 9, a lever 18 is rotated due to the advancement of a piston by an air cylinder 16, hence an operating lever 19 is lowered to push down the bent part 21 of the pulling rod 20 and the filter cloth 8 is stretched in the pulling down direction. The filter cloth 8 is moved by the stretch and the cake deposited on the surface is automatically stripped off and dropped.
