PURPOSE: Sheets of reed screen bearing laver sheets are conveyed out of the drier and directly supplied to the device for stripping off the laver sheets without pretreatment, where the laver sheets can rapidly and steadily stripped off from the screen sheets.

CONSTITUTION: Reed screen sheet bering laver sheet 14 is conveyed out of drier 12 with horizontal conveyor 13, held with belts 7, 8 on both sides, raised almost vertically, and then held between revolving perforated cylinder 4 and guide shaft 5. The screen sheet 14 takes a long way around the shaft 5, then is held by rollers 6, 6 and drawn upward to the direction "a" in which the cylinder 4 moves, whereby the intervals between reeds are expanded in the direction of "a". The laver sheet 26 on the screen 14 is sucked around the perforated cylinder 4 by sucking air through opening 3, thus the moving speed of the screen 14 becomes higher than that of the laver sheet 26 and the screen 14 separates from the laver sheet 26. The screen 14 is carried away by conveyor 16 and the laver sheet 26 is moved by the perforated cylinder 4 toward the left side.
