Abstract:

To provide a method for stripping a polymer dispersion.

The continous stripping method of the polymer dispersion comprises a heat exchanger which is equipped with a stripper and has minimal internal obstructions. The method is particularly adapted to a dispersion which is heat- and shear-sensitive. The method can extract hydrophobic VOCs more efficiently than a single, jacketed tube design.
