PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly remove an organochlorine compound even from any polluted soil within a short period without leaving adverse effect on treated soil.
SOLUTION: A treatment structure of an organochlorine compound is constituted of the hollow perforated pipe 2 embedded in organochlorine compound- containing polluted soil 1, the anode 3a and the cathode 3b arranged in the hollow perforated pipe as a pair of electrodes and the power supply 4 electrically connected to the anode and the cathode.
