PURPOSE: To facilitate the high-speed efficient supply of a band without giving damage, by providing with two separated housings such as a sending side band housing and a returning side band housing, and by distributing band materials to each band housing using a cushion housing separator.

CONSTITUTION: A band (1) sent from a band reel is sent forth by a pair of first conveyer rollers (17.1), and is led to a pair of second conveyer rollers (17.2), which works to pull back the band to tighten a product (5) to be wrapped. In tightening the product, the band is sent in the opposite direction of sending direction by a pulling-back device (4). In such a device, two band housings (10.1, 10.2) are provided, each of which has a flat room shape as well as inlet and outlet openings (20.1, 20.2). The quantity of the band (1) sent by the first conveyer roller (17.1) through a cushion housing separator (3) is checked, and the predetermined quantity is temporarily stored in the housing (10.1) and the pulled-back band (1) by the pulling-back device is stored in the housing (10.2).
