Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure uniform heating by hot gas in the method for supplying hot gas to a vertical continuous formed coke oven.
CONSTITUTION: The feed rate of a low-temperature hot gas 18 through opposed groups of tuyeres 8, 8a is periodically changed to thereby change the passageway of a high-temperature hot gas 19 ascending from the lower part with time, thus uniforming the rate of heating of lump coal in the region.
