Abstract:
To provide a method for transporting coal ash capable of suppressing dust generation and preventing deterioration of a working environment from before marine transportation by ship to after marine transportation when performing marine transportation of coal ash using a ship, and capable of transporting the coal ash while suppressing solidification and fluidization of the coal ash even if it takes four days or more for marine transportation, and capable of maintaining good properties of the coal ash and preventing a part of the coal ash from falling during transportation after marine transportation.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for transporting coal ash, in which the coal ash is transported by sea for four days or more using a ship, the method including: supplying water to the coal ash so that a water content in the coal ash is 6 to 17 mass%; loading the coal ash on a ship; performing marine transportation for four days or more; and unloading the coal ash.SELECTED DRAWING: None
