Abstract:

To provide a practical catalyst which suppresses the stripping of gold fine particles and has excellent durability in a gold fine particle catalyst for liquid phase reaction.

When the catalyst carrying the gold fine particles is used in the liquid phase reaction, the catalyst includes at least one kind selected from Ru, Rh, Pd, Os, Ir and Pt at the atomic ratio to Au in the range 0.001-0.2.
