This mobile radio communication system has centralized control stations 2a and 2b, and a plurality of radio base stations 5a-5a and 5b-5b connected to the stations 2a and 2b. In this communication system, a method of synchronizing the base stations is adopted by which a voice or data transmitting and receiving timing is synchronized between one 2a or 2b of the centralized control stations 2a and 2b adjoining a plurality of base stations 1a and 1b and the other control station 2a or 2b.
