Abstract:

To provide a method for synthesizing 4-methoxysalicylic acid, by which the 4-methoxysalicylic acid can be synthesized in a microreactor in an excellent reaction yield and at excellent reaction speed.

There is provided the method for synthesizing the 4-methoxysalicylic acid, characterized by reacting -resorcylic acid with dimethyl sulfate in a microreactor to synthesize the 4-methoxysalicylic acid.
