Abstract:
To provide a new method for synthesizing pure ganglioside GM2 in a high yield.
This method for synthesizing GM2 is characterized by including a process for reacting a trisaccharide compound with a glycosyl donor compound in the presence of a catalyst and obtaining a large amount of ganglioside GM2 by highly controlling an anomer.
