Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technical means by which a homoallyl type amine can be synthesized from an imine compound in a high yield in a good diastereomer selectivity and in a good enathiomer selectivity.
SOLUTION: This method for synthesizing the homoallyl type amine represented by the general formula (3) (R1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic group which may have one or more substituents; R2 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having one or more hydroxyl groups or one or more protected hydroxyl groups; R3 is H or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group) comprises reacting an imine compound represented by formula (1) with an allyl stannane compound represented by formula (2) in the presence of a chiral zirconium catalyst comprising a (R)-3,3'- dihalogeno-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol and a zirconium alkoxide.
