Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically vary the window size of an application by a window system so that the window size does not exceed resolution.
SOLUTION: When the application is started, an application window size recognizing means 1 and a resolution confirming means 2 recognize the window size of the application and the resolution respectively and inform a size ratio comparing confirmation means 3 of them. Then the size ratio comparing confirmation means 3 compares the reported window size and resolution with each other and inquires the variation of the window size of a window size variation confirmation means 4 when the window size is larger. As the result of the inquiry result, a window size calculating means 5 and a window size display position changing means 6 calculate window size and a display position to display a window.
