Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the readability of a character image.
SOLUTION: The system for displaying a title character comprises a section 4 for separating a title statement text signal and a video signal from a title broadcast signal, a section 8 for detecting the moving direction of a title statement text based on the title statement text signal and outputting a title statement movement vector signal indicative of that moving direction, a section 10 delivering a signal for designating the conversion method of the title statement text based on the title statement movement vector signal and display performance information, a section 14 for converting the title statement text by the title statement designating signal, a section 18 for compositing the title statement text signal converted at the title statement converting section and a video signal, and a display 20 for displaying the composited video.
