Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in image quality by revising a pixel value corresponding to a degree of local complexity of an image so as to imbed other sub-information in the image in an unnoticed way.
SOLUTION: The information imbedding system 1 as the title system is provided with a means 7 that calculates a degree of complexity of each point of an input image and generates a complexity component image, a means 11 that applies orthogonal transform to the image, a means 9 that calculates a revision amount of an orthogonal transform coefficient of the input image based on sub-information and key information, a means 13 that obtains the value of the orthogonal transform coefficient of the complexity component image to revise an amplitude of a pixel value of the complexity component image so that the orthogonal transform coefficient of the complexity component image is equal to the revision amount of the orthogonal transform coefficient, and a means 15 that added the complexity component image after applying the revision to the input image to obtain the image in which the sub-information is imbedded.
