To provide a method and system for processing disbursement slips, performing batch processing of the disbursement slips at a business center so that cash of the disbursement slips which need to be cashed is dispensed from cash dispensers installed in branch offices.
The method includes the step of collecting at the business center the disbursement slips brought back by liaison officers to the branch offices of a financial institution; the step of inputting to a host computer information on the disbursement slips collected at the business center; the step of letting the host computer update a ledger according to the input information; the step of transferring the results of ledger updating for each branch office; and the step of dispensing, based on the results of updating transferred from the business center, the cash for each liaison officer from the cash dispenser installed in each branch office.
