To improve accuracy in coloring repetition of an object produced by means of a solid freeform fabrication technique.
The object of desired shape is produced as follows. A powdery component 234 is spread in a predetermined thickness in a fabrication chamber 202 of a freeform fabrication system 200 as the second material; then the first material 232 comprising a colorant and a binder is discharged from a discharge device 233 in a programmed pattern so that the component 234 is solidified to form a layer of a desired shape; and the layer is laminated by repeating the above sequential process. During the process, the colorant precipitates by pH influence etc., and is retained near to the surface of the produced object. As the first material 232 discharged from the discharge device 233, two or more types comprising colorants of different colors such as CMYK, are available and the object is produced in optional color by changing composition ratio in the first material 232 discharged.
