To enable to browse an electronic newspaper as it is displayed in folds for easy viewing, in providing the electronic newspaper to subscribers via communication lines, by enabling the current day or previous paper or fliers to be browsed and selected by flipping to permit use even with narrow bands, without requiring a large capital investment.
An electronic newspaper distribution server 21 receives the electronic newspaper information of the current day from a newspaper production part 30 and receives the previous electronic newspaper information from a paper storage part 40 to store these pieces of electronic newspaper information. The server also receives electronic flier information from a newsstand's terminal 50 to store the electronic flier information. A subscriber's terminal 10 receives at least either the electronic newspaper information or the electronic flier information from the distribution server 21 to browse the electronic newspaper by flipping it and displaying it in folds.
