Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multicast service providing method and system, capable of effectively utilizing radio resources and also receiving only the distribution service of needed multicast information in each terminal.
SOLUTION: In these multicast service providing method and system in which an information distributing device performs the distribution service of the multi- cast information to radio terminals within its service area through a radio section, the information distributing device notifies all of the radio terminals within the service area of information for identifying the multi-cast information in the distribution service and a radio channel used for the distribution of the multi-cast information, and each radio terminal within the service area receives the distribution service of the multi-cast information from the information distributing device by the notified radio channel.
