Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which audio signals of two or more can be recorded in a compressed type and a system performing the method.
SOLUTION: Each sample of audio signals is recorded only when a voice is detected in the audio signals (step 115). When a voice is detected in samples of audio signals of two or more, memory capacity required for recording is economized by coupling samples of these audio signals (step 110). When a voice is not detected in an audio signal, the signal is not recorded. As coupling of signals, that is, mixing is performed only when a voice is detected in samples of audio signals of two or more, required average calculating capability and power consumption are reduced.
