To provide a take-up method and a take-up device capable of sufficiently inhibiting a winding mark from being transferred to an adhesive layer in the case of taking up a long rugged film like a roll, and sufficiently inhibiting the occurrence of a void due to entrainment of air in sticking the adhesive layer to an adherend.
A method for taking up a long rugged film like a roll includes: a take-up process of taking up the long film like a roll; a measuring process of measuring the roll diameter of the film taken-up like a roll and the take-up tension; and a control process of controlling to lower the take-up tension with an increase in roll diameter of the taken up film measured in the measuring process and also with respect to an initial value of the take-up tension. In the control process, the initial value of the take-up tension is 10-20 N, and the take-up tension when the roll diameter of the taken-up film reaches 200 mm is controlled to 8-15 N.
