Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for teaching a robot track of efficiently producing track information of small error by reducing a burden as small as possible of a user in the case of inputting the information edited relating to the robot track.

CONSTITUTION: Workpiece shape information, tool contact point locus information and robot track information are converted into a visual image and simultaneously displayed (step 1) in a display unit of a computer system, the shape information, contact point locus information and the robot track information having a crossing point in a display picture plane with arbitrarily pointed two points are selected (step 2), and the selected information is displayed by changing its brightness (step 3).
