Title:
METHOD OF TRANSFORMATION OF ACETIC ACID BACTERIA BELONGING TO GENUS GLUCONOBACTER USING GENE RESISTANT TO DRUG
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61139388
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of transformation of acetic acid bacteria belonging to the genus Gluconobacter, by transforming the acetic acid bacteria belonging to the genus Gluconobacter by the use of a vector having a plasmid of lactic acid bacteria belonging to the gneus Gluconobacter, to which a resistant gene such as ampicillin resistant gene, etc. is connected.

CONSTITUTION: Acetic acid bacteria belonging to the genus Gluconobacter is transformed by the use of a vector having a plasmid of acetic acid bacteria belonging to the genus Gluconobacter, to which ampicillin resistant gene of Escherichia coli drug resistant transposon Tn2, or Tn3 and its derivatives, or chloramphenicol resistant gene or kanamycin resistant gene of Escherichia coli drug resistant plasmid R6 and its derivative, or tetracycline resistant gene of Escherichia coli drug resistant plasmid pSC101 and its derivative is connected. Gluconobacter suboxydance pearl alpha IFO3254 may be cited as the example of transformed bacteria.
