Abstract:
PURPOSE:To consecutively and automatically transport a coil between devices by clamping a coil end with a puller connected with a snake chain and moving the puller along the rail. CONSTITUTION:The coil 1 set at an uncoiler 2 is sent from the uncoiler 2 to a pressing part 7 successively through a loop pinch roller 3, a loop controller 4, the puller 5, a leveler feeder 6. Besides, the coil sent to the pressing part 7 is blanked by a die 21, scraps fed out of the die in the shape of a sultone are cut by a scrap cutter at a steady interval and discharged by a scrap shoot 17. Especially, a through sheet at a 3rd step runs an overhang puller 5 using the snake chain 12 along the puller rail 11, clamps the coil end by this puller 5 and moves the coil automatically along a desired locus. Accordingly, the coil can be transported automatically irrespective of the thickness and diameter of the coil.
