Abstract:

To provide a treat method for exhaust gas in electric furnace, which can prevent the composition reaction of dioxin by absorbing the chloride within exhaust gas efficiently.

The exhaust gas in an electric furnace 1 is led to a combustion tower 2, and the umcombusted components are combusted. Then, in the position of a flue not less than the temperature (500°C) where the temperature of exhaust gas is higher than the dioxin composition temperature, alkaline powder is blown in the exhaust gas by an alkali blow-in device 3. Then, the exhaust gas is cooled by the cooling water from a spray nozzle 5 in a cooling tower 4, and after removal of dust with a bag filter 6, it is released from a chimney 7. The alkaline powder blown in from the alkali blow-in device 3 is carried to the bag filter 6, accompanying the exhaust gas, and in this middle, it absorbs chloride, and also suppresses the composition reaction of dioxin. The alkaline powder having absorbed chloride is discharged from the system through the bag filter 6 together with the dust.
