Title:
METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF WASTE INCINERATED ASH AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0929204
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To transform a general waste incineration ash into a form capable of being safely treated by a method wherein the incineration ash is pulverized to make a controlled granule of a specific grain size, and after kneading it with, a solidifying material and an additive they are pelletized to be classified into a plurality of pellets of prescribed particle sizes, and the pellets of a prescribed particle size and various kinds of aggregates are mixed by a specific ratio to make a recycling product.

An incineration ash and the other noncombustible inorganic waste from an incineration furnace are supplied to a primary crusher 2 from a hopper 1. After crushing them primarily, magnetic metals such as iron or the like are selected with a magnetic separator 3 to be removed. Then, after sieving the crushed product with a primary classifier 4, it is heated with a dryer 5 to evaporate excess water content. Then, the crushed product is pulverized with a secondary crusher 6 to make a controlled granule, which is classified by passing through a secondary classifier 7. Thereafter, a solidifying material 9, an additive 10, and water are added to the product to be kneaded. The kneaded product is pelletized with a pelletizer 11. The pellet is classified with a classifer 13. The pellet of a prescribed particle size and various kinds of aggregate are mixed in a mixer 15, and a recycle product capable of being used as a road bed material or the like can be obtained.
