Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the method for unwinding and winding the cable without breaking a communication line by using the drum-wound cable which is small in size and has superior productivity. CONSTITUTION:The upper mouth 4 of the cable 3 wound around a drum 6 is connected to equipment 1. A flexible cord 8 is connected to the lower mouth 5 and connected to equipment 2. When the cable 3 is unwound, the drum 6 is rotated to unwound the cable 3. The cable is twisted by one rotation on the side of the lower mouth 6 as the drum 6 makes one rotation, but the flexible cable 8 is interposed to absorb the twist. The cable 3 on the side of the equipment 2 is fixed as it is and the connection state of the line can be secured even during the unwinding operation.
