Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply produce precipitates of a molybdenum compound which have high purity and a desired average particle size as the variation in the average particle size is suppressed, with excellent washability, and workability, even in case of the precipitate containing three or more kinds of metallic elements.
SOLUTION: Precipitates of a molybdenum compound is washed with an acidic aqueous solution having a pH of ≤6.5 and including at least 0.01 mol/l of ammonium groups.
