To provide a method for waste burning power generation capable of efficiently generating power by burning a chlorine-containing waste.
The method for waste burning power generation comprises the steps of dry distilling a chlorine-containing waste in a dry distilling furnace, passing generated gas through a desalting unit to remove its chlorine content in the gas, separately burning a combustion gas obtained by burning the obtained clean gas and a combustion gas obtained by burning a residue retained in the dry distilling furnace by introducing them to superheaters of a boiler to generate power or dry distilling the waste in the distilling furnace, combining clean gas obtained by removing the chlorine content in the gas through a wet desalting unit and a washing residue obtained by washing the residue retained in the distilling furnace with waste water from the desalting unit, and introducing the combined gas to the superheaters of the boiler to generate power.
