Title:
METHOD FOR WATERMARKING THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016085746
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for watermarking a three-dimensional object.SOLUTION: An input 10 is linked to a module 12 configured to compute an original thickness signature. A thickness value is computed for each vertex among a plurality of vertices. A module 14 is then configured to determine a target thickness signature using the original thickness signature and a watermark payload, for example by means of a secret key. A module 16 is then configured to modify the position of at least one vertex so that the thickness signature of the modified object is close to the target thickness signature and so that the introduced distortion satisfies a distortion constraint. The module 16 is linked to an output 18. The 3D object is stored in a remote or local memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
