Abstract:

To provide a method for weaving a ground cloth of a high-density hollow weave fabric having good weaving performance even without applying a sizing agent to the warp, and giving a ground cloth free from wrinkle and having sufficiently high strength and inner-pressure holding properties.

The weaving method for a high-density hollow weave fabric weaves a ground cloth having a double weave part and a single weave part by using a loom having a jacquard-type shedding mechanism and a non-sized warp composed of a synthetic yarn satisfying the conditions of (1) a single fiber fineness of 2.6-7.0 dtex/f, (2) a twist number of 0-300 T/m, (3) an intermeshing count of 15-40/m, (4) an intermeshing ratio of 5-70% and (5) an application amount of a sizing agent of 0.4-3.0 wt.%. The weaving is carried out at a cover factor of the warp on the loom of 1,800-2,300 and a warp tension in weaving of 0.18-0.32 cN/dtex.
