To develop and provide a method for weaving a special woven fabric, by forming many of sets of yarn threads of which the each is given by using a thick yarn thread and a thin yarn thread (arranged on one of sides of the thick yarn thread) or thin yarn threads (arranged on both the sides thereof), simultaneously making the thick yarn thread and the thin yarn threads have colors different from one another, and weaving the sets of the yarn threads into the woven fabric, so that the woven fabric is seen in the different colors according to directions of seeing the fabric, and further that characters or patterns which are seen in one of directions are seen as if the colors, the characters, or the patterns disappear when seen in the other direction.
In this method for weaving the woven fabric comprising the weft and the warp, the weft A, the warp B, or both the weft and the warp are each formed out of the thick yarn thread X and the thin yarn threads Y, Z adjoining to the thick yarn thread X and arranged on both the sides, so that the three thread X, Y, Z function as the set, and simultaneously the thick yarn thread X, the thin yarn thread Y, and the thin yarn thread Z are made to have the colors different from one another or the thick yarn thread X and any one of the thin yarn threads Y, Z are made to have an identical color and the other of the thin yarn threads Y, Z is made to have another color, and further two or more of the sets thus formed are sequentially arranged and woven.
