Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the repairing quality and to reduce the repairing time by providing a notch on a symmetrical part of a condensing optical system to form a gas path and arranging a gas nozzle in the vicinity of a laser beam projection hole and providing a cooling fin on the rear of a reflection mirror.

CONSTITUTION: A fiber projection part 19, a tip optical system 12 and the condensing optical system 14 are arranged to the inside of a repairing sleeve 10. At this time, the gas path 17 for a gas curtain is provided on a rotary cylinder 13 to form the gas curtain on the laser projection hole 16. By this method, spatters, etc., from a weld zone 11 are prevented from penetrating into the rotary cylinder 13. A part of gas of the path 17 cools each lens of the optical systems 12 and 14 by the flow of the gas and the reflection mirror 15 is cooled by the fin 20. Accordingly, at the time of the repairing work of a heat-transfer pipe 4, the functional deterioration of the optical systems is prevented and the weld quality is improved. Namely, the repairing quality is improved and the repairing time is also reduced.
