Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method for welding a projection bolt having shaft portion, a flange, and a projection for welding, to a work of a steel plate, wherein the setting position of the projection bolt and the loading position of the work steel plate is separated from the welding position, since many welding machines are disposed, making important to select the positions different from such a position.
SOLUTION: An intermediate electrode 10 is installed on a supporting table 6 for movable work 1, the receiving hole 12 is drilled in this electrode 10 for the shaft portion 3 of the projection bolt 2 to be inserted. At inserting position (S), the projection bolt 2 is held by the intermediate electrode 10 and the work 1 is placed thereon. Then, the supporting table 6 is transferred to the welding position (W), the work 1, the projections for welding, and the intermediate electrode 10 are pinched with electrodes 34, 35 of a welder to perform welding.
