Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a high workability even at the room temp. by applying cold-rolling to a perpendicular surface to a hot-rolled surface without changing the rolling direction after hot-extruding an oxide dispersion strengthened alloy.

CONSTITUTION: Into alloy powder mainly containing a metal having bcc structure, fine oxide powder is mixed, and after hot-extruding the oxide dispersion strengthened alloy finely dispersing the oxide particles in the matrix by a mechanical alloying method, the cold-rolling is applied to the B surfaces of the hot-rolled plate which is perpendicular to the A surfaces of the hot-rolled plate, in the condition of the rolling direction having the same direction as the A surfaces of the hot rolled plate.
