Abstract:
The method involves warning the driver with an audible and/or visual and/or haptic indication, whereby a warning signal is generated whose magnitude is dependent on the degree of inattentiveness of the driver. A value representing degree of driver inattentiveness is derived from at least one operating parameter. An Independent claim is also included for a driver warning device implementing the above method.
