Abstract:

To provide a method for determining a handover signaling system, a device, a related computer program product and a data structure.SOLUTION: A first method includes a step for transmitting an instruction of a first protocol version in a handover request message. A second method includes: a step for receiving the instruction in the handover request message; a step for determining a value of an information element for instructing the use of a first signaling system or a second signaling system different from the first signaling system, included in a handover request acknowledgement message to be transmitted on the basis of the received instruction and a second protocol version; and a step for transmitting the handover request acknowledgement message including the information element. The handover request acknowledgement message including the information element is received in the first method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
