To provide a micro-combustor capable of efficiently preheating pre-mix gas, stabling flame by preventing a flame blow-off phenomenon as well as a back fire phenomenon and realizing downsizing and executing a large load operation in pre-mix combustion in a micro-channel.
The micro-combustor for combusting the pre-mix gas consisting of fuel and oxidizing gas for combustion in a combustion chamber 4 of a micro-channel is equipped with a pre-mix gas flow passage 6 for introducing the pre-mix gas to the combustion chamber, a combustion gas flow passage 8 for exhausting combustion gas from the combustion chamber and a heat transfer wall 10, formed between the pre-mix gas flow passage and the combustion gas flow passage, for heating the pre-mix gas by recovering heat of the combustion gas. The micro-channel is formed by spirally providing the pre-mix gas flow passage and the combustion gas flow passage with the combustion chamber as the center. The combustion chamber has a plurality of flow-in parts 18, 19 for communicating to the pre-mix gas flow passage and is structured to make a shape of each flow-in part set to be smaller than a flame-out distance of the pre-mix gas expressed by a flame-out equivalent diameter at the time of combustion operation.
