Title:
マイクロチャネルプレート及び光電子増倍管
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4118965
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
In a microchannel plate (50), a conductive film (52) is formed on an electron input surface of a dynode (51) where the plurality of channels (54) are arranged. The conductive film (52) is made of material that can transmit light that has originated photoelectrons and that has a refractive index lower than that of the dynode (51). This leads to a greater absorbtion of light and hence reduced scatter and hence generation of halo's in a resulting image.
