Title:
MICROCOMPUTER-CONTROLLED PIEZOELECTRIC OSCILLATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2738319
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform accurate temperature compenstation even for the rapid change of an ambient temperature and to prevent the degradation of frequency stability.
CONSTITUTION: A frequency divider 2, the frequency divider 3 and a highly accurate frequency comparator 4 are provided. An output frequency F (t0) when the ambient temperature T is t0 is defined as a center frequency f0 and a difference between the frequency divided output frequency F1 (t0) of the frequency divider 2 and the frequency divided output frequency F2 (t0) of the frequency divider 3 at the time is stored in a memory circuit 7 as a reference value. A microcomputer circuit 6 obtains the change amount Δf of the output frequency F to the center frequency f0 based on the reference value stored in the memory circuit 7 and a digital code from an analog/digital converter 5, supplies an analog voltage corresponding to the change amount Δf through a digital/analog converter 8 to a voltage-controlled piezoelectric oscillator 1 and keeps the output frequency F at the center frequency f0.
