Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain a microcomputer formed easily as one chip for emulating a one-chip microcomputer having an EE-PROM by providing a RAM emulating an EE-PROM. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer is provided with a program memory 10 comprising a UV-PROM, the 1st RAM 20, a CPU 40 supplying the 1st write control signal WR 1 and a write control signal generating circuit 50 receiving the 1st write control signal WR 1 and generating the 2nd write control signal WR 2 and supplying it to the 2nd RAM 30. When the CPU 40 generates the signal WR 1 and an SEL is set to logical '1', a flip-flop 54 is set, a Q output is used as a write command signal WAIT to the WR 2 and the CPU 40, and when a counter 55 generates a carry signal Ca, the flip-flop 54 is reset to release the WAIT.
