Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an EVA chip which can simplify an access procedure for accessing the internal resource of the EVA chip or a memory in a user system from an emulator and therefore shortons the time for the access, and increase the speed of the access irrelevantly to the operation frequency of the EVA chip.
CONSTITUTION: The microcontrol unit (EVA chip) which has an emulator connection terminal 6 and a user system memory part connection terminal 7 has the internal resource 1, a CPU part 2, and a bus switching means 3 which reconnects the internal resource 1 and user system memory part connection terminal 7 to the CPU part 2 or emulator connection terminal 6 according to the control signal from the emulator 8.
